Kids Privacy Online: It’s Not So Cut and Dry

For adults, it’s an implicit arrangement between you and the online world. You get some free access on the Internet and in exchange someone out there on the Internet is amassing some information about you. For kids, it’s a much murkier issue. We don’t want advertisers amassing the details of their lives, but as parents, we’re not exactly willing to pay for the privilege of having our kids remain cloistered from ads.
